Hunt premier elk habitat in Ruidoso, New Mexico. It’s the famous region of Billy the Kid in Lincoln County. This hunt has good opportunities for all
age groups. Success rate was nearly 80% of all hunts in 2018.
Archery
Archery hunts take place in the peak of the rut. It can be action packed with bugling bulls. The archery hunter can expect several different strategies, such as calling, spot and stock and even sitting at water holes.
These five day hunts are offered the last two weeks of September. If the addiction runs deep into your veins you have the opportunity to extend the hunt from a five
to a seven day hunt for an additional fee.

A 50% deposit is required to reserve a tag or adventure date. Hunts will not be booked until the deposit is paid. The remaining balance is due before the hunt begins. Cancelations must be made no less than 30 days prior to the adventure date.

New Mexico Private Land Elk (Rifle)
Early rifle hunts have a good opportunity to catch bulls still in the rut, which can create a unique opportunity to hunt bugling bulls with a rifle. A five day rifle hunt
starts the first week of October.
